PDX Steamroller Print Fest

July 19 + 20

Northwest Marine Art Works

2516 NW 29th Avenue Portland, OR

11 am - 5 pm Saturday || 11 am - 4 pm Sunday

Portland’s NW industrial district will come alive with ink, steel and creativity during the PDX Steamroller Print Fest at NW Marine Art Works, Saturday from 11-5 and Sunday 11-4.

Sponsored by Portland’s non-profit Print Arts Northwest, this free, all-ages event features giant linoleum block prints made with a pavement roller, plus open studios of more than two dozen local artists inside one of Portland’s largest art studio complexes. There will be demonstrations of other forms of printmaking all weekend, including etching and letterpress. Guests will have the opportunity to watch artists at work, enjoy engaging demos, talk with makers and check out the spaces where some of Portland’s best art is created.

Steamroller printmaking will take place outdoors in the lot, while inside Building 5, these freshly printed works will be on display, offering the public a rare chance to see, experience and purchase large-scale fine art prints made right before their eyes.

Local food and beverage vendors will be on hand. A print raffle will be held to raise funds for future print-making events.

Whether you’re a local art lover, collector or just looking for a uniquely Portland experience, the PDX Steamroller Print Fest promises bold visuals, meaningful encounters with artists, and a celebration of creativity in one of Portland’s most historic industrial neighborhoods.
