Portland’s Lower Albina district will come alive with ink, steel and creativity during the PDX Steamroller Print Fest at River Street Studios, Saturday from 11-5 and Sunday 11-4.

Sponsored by Portland’s Atelier Meridian Fine art print shop, this free, all-ages event features giant linoleum block prints made with a pavement roller.

Steamroller printmaking will take place outdoors on the concrete shipbuilding patio on the Willamette River. The freshly printed works will be on display, offering the public a rare chance to see, experience, and purchase large-scale fine art prints made right before their eyes. 

A print raffle will be held to raise funds for future print-making events.  

Whether you’re a local art lover, collector or just looking for a uniquely Portland experience, the PDX Steamroller Print Fest promises irreverent combines of ink & paper, strange & wonderful encounters with artists, and a celebration of creativity in one of Portland’s most historic industrial neighborhoods.
